MARK WATSON

We are delighted that our TCT Awards host for 2025 is the hilarious and multi-talented comedian – Mark Watson! Mark has been at the heart of British comedy for nearly 20 years, after winning the Edinburgh Festival Award and the Time Out Critic's Choice Award in 2006.  

Since then he has become one of the leading live performers in the UK making regular appearances at the Edinburgh Fringe festival, alongside TV appearances on Mock the Week, Would I like to you?, Live at the apollo and Channel 4's Comedy gala.  He also has a hit comedy series on Radio 4 called Mark Watson Talks A Bit About Life, and performed a number of comic tours-de-force in the shape of 24-hour shows.

Away from the spotlight, Mark is also an accomplished writer with a string of well-received novels including A Light-hearted Look at Murder, Bullet Point, Hotel Alpha, and Contacts.
